Programme

Three days
Floor · sessions · training · gala
The same shape in every region

The success of any edition has never come from the keynotes. It comes from the exhibitors who turn up and the delegates who work the floor.

So the programme is built the other way round from most conferences. The floor is open across all three days and the sessions are scheduled around it, not the reverse. Nothing important is ever put opposite the exhibitor hall.

Every region runs the same shape: training before the doors open, three days of floor and sessions, a gala awards dinner in the middle, and in Asia a second block of training afterwards. Session times and the full agenda are published per edition in the event app.

The shape of an edition

Sessions end.
Nothing else does.

Delegates and exhibitors stay in the same hotel, eat the same dinner and end up at the same bar. Twenty-three years of business in this ecosystem has been done somewhere in that second half of the evening.

Day one

Arrive, and set up.

  • Pre-conference training for those who booked it
  • Registration opens; exhibitors build their stands
  • The exhibitor floor opens
  • Welcome reception — the first real conversations
Day two

The long day.

  • Sessions run in parallel across the three tracks
  • The floor — this is what people came for
  • Sage roadmap and product direction
  • Gala awards dinner
Day three

Finish, and follow up.

  • Final sessions; the floor stays open
  • Close, and the recap the organisers actually publish
  • Post-conference training — Asia editions

The shape of an edition, not a published timetable. Session times, room allocations and the full agenda are published per edition in the event app.

The evening

The half of it that never appears in a programme.

A gala dinner, a musician nobody booked to be memorable, and the table you happen to be seated at. Ask anyone who has been more than twice which part they plan their travel around.

Training, either
side of the floor.

Training is not part of the delegate ticket. It is scheduled around the three days so that travelling once can cover both.

Before you travel

The agenda lives
in the app.

Because it changes up to the morning of day one, and because a printed programme cannot tell you which stand somebody just moved to.

  • The full agenda, per editionEvery session, room and time for the edition you registered for — published ahead of the doors opening.
  • The registered exhibitor directoryWho is on the floor this year, which is not the same list two years running. Worth reading on the plane.
  • Available on iPhone, Android and the webThe same interactive guide on all three, so nobody is locked out by their phone.

The agenda is published per edition.

There is no year-round programme to browse, because each region builds its own around the exhibitors who registered for it. The link goes live with each edition.
